My goodness, could it get any colder?
This arctic blast makes it hard to even get out of bed in the mornings!
I can proudly say that I feel as though I am over my complete and total exhaustion in the mornings, and have a little more energy to get out of bed and get dressed.
I’ve also found (as the bump gets bigger), my desire to actually get ready and pick out a cute outfit has dramatically changed. When I first found out I was pregnant, I pretty much wore leggings and whatever I found first in my closet. I was tired, bloated and just felt all the icks.
Now that I’m in my second trimester, my energy levels are finally gearing back up. Now, this doesn’t mean I don’t like to stay in bed a few extra minutes…but it’s nice to want to put time into getting ready again. I’m also looking forward to dressing the bump.
It has popped up (or should I say out) out of nowhere in the past week or so.
It’s been kind of fun, but also tricky! Dresses are my go to right now, as the buttons on my jeans are getting a little harder to come together these days!
That being said, I braved the cold, frigid, dreary temps this morning to snap a few pictures. I absolutely adore Monroe & Harlow and you’ve seen me wear several of her headbands before. She is so talented, and this burgundy braided knit headband might just be my favorite.
Also, Anikka was sweet enough to set up a little discount code for SigneRoo readers! So at checkout, just use the code Signe20 for 20% off your entire order!

Merry Early Christmas, everyone!
I know Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but I can’t help being in the Christmas spirit today! As I mentioned before, over the last several months, I have been working with the charming and lovely Missing Q Letterpress on a Holiday collaboration.
I came up with the illustrations and Jason used his incredible graphic design skills and worked tirelessly on producing all of the prints, tags and cards on the antique letterpress machines in his shop. I had so much fun choosing designs, colors, sizes, and packaging everything up with a little touch of Christmas love…you know, the works!
After several months, we are so thrilled to debut the line today!
Also, another little fun fact! Riffraff stores will be carrying the line very soon!
So keep your eyes open all you NWA and Dallas ladies!
And, of course, if you find yourself in the charming historic square of downtown Mckinney, Texas (I’m a little biased!)…Be sure to stop in and purchase a few from Missing Q Letterpress. You won’t leave without something, trust me! A personal treasure catches my eye every time!
Here’s a little sneak peek of what you’ll find in the SigneRoo Holiday Shop!
So for all you Christmassy ladies and gentleman, go check it out here!
(or click on the shop tab at the top of the page)
Christmas should be my middle name.
Frosted window panes, Bing Crosby on vinyl, tinsel and trees.
Our tiny historical square becomes a magical winter wonderland.
And in the midst of that wonderland, sits the quaintest little letterpress shop called Missing Q Press. Jason is the owner and my friend, and we have been working on this collaboration for the last few weeks. I love the artistry behind Letterpress. Jason works on 100 year old machines and everything is meticulously calculated. It’s like stepping back in time. (Check out this video Chad made for Missing Q for a little glimpse into the process!) It has been so fun to see it all come to fruition right before the Holiday season begins.
Be on the lookout for our limited edition line of festive goodies, coming very soon!
They will be available on my blog and in selected retail stores.
You better watch out.
You better not cry.
You better stay tuned…
I’m tellin you why!
Well, winter has decided to blow its way back into Texas and show its ugly face again. It’s not that I hate winter. And I know, every spring, there are an abundance of comments claiming that winter will never end and spring seems so far off.
But, it’s true! You get a little taste of Spring, and every dreary day in between seems just that. Dreary.
To be honest, I was waiting for a chilly day so I could pull this coat out of my closet. I was hoping to wear it at least once before the warm weather arrived.
I guess I got my wish.
In a few months, you’ll hear me complaining about the hot and humid tropical climate we live in. (sans the beautiful beach & crystal blue ocean)
It’s a double edged sword world we live in, folks.
